    1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Going through rehearsals and making any changes. I was engaged in my job role and trying to see what ways I can improve and help support the team where I can.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

I felt we lost time as we did not start a run through until 1.30pm. It took a while to do a complete run through this week and we could of spent time ironing out issues from the whole script not just half. I felt distanced when I spent my energy having to talk to certain team members so we can continue our rehearsals. People lost there heads this week and forgot why we were there.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

A member of our team bought in props for our set that was affirming to see. Richard stood his ground this week dealing with certain individuals and I think we need that in order to complete the task. If people cant take orders dont be there.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Why a team member decided to go off on a tangent in rehearsals and why the other seems to be wasting our time in the studio through interrupting and arguing with the director. I think some people can not except any type of authority over them which is draining.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

Interruptions on set and arguing with Richard. No one is better than anyone else and we are not there to compete. We are there to work as a team, so I hope next week we get it done as we shall have less time in the studio.

    1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

During rehearsals - at the end of the day things went really well, and I think we worked really well as a group.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

Problems with the vision mixer, problems with students just disrupting things.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

I think Richard really stepped up this week, and just told people that needed to be told. I think the communication between the studio and the floor really improved which is such a key thing to have.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Almost everyone was focused on the task at hand, but a few students just seemed to want to disrupt things. If you acted like that and you were being paid, you'd be fired. If you move the camera on the final run, whilst we're using your shot, you've ruined the production. So why some students don't pay attention to the director is beyond me.

Vision mixing is so much more fluid now we have a lot of the pre-record inserted. At the start I was confused, and things did go wrong which I'm sure was my fault, but once I had things sorted out I think things ran a lot more smoothly (on my part anyway).

  3. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

I was most engaged today while editing the flip can footage it should be finished for next week however that was the best use of my time today.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening ?

I was most distanced today doing paper work while the others were filming was quite hard trying to edit when you don't know what's been filmed.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

John explaining what he wanted for the intro to his part was most helpful his input helped me make some of the important decisions in the pre recorded material.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

I was rather confused why Rich was getting so stressed, most things were running smoothly the odd issue but nothing too major.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

I was most surprised that the pre recorded footage was used as much of it was out of focus and the edit wasn't finished.
